It is your day to be Proud and Bold.

Prime Timers at lunch just digging in

More to Life
“Surely, life is more than this,”
I heard somebody say;
And then I heard myself agree
One sad and lonely day.
But then I had to stop and think
About this life we live;
What is it that adds spice to it
And what it has to give?
Each minute has its special place
In every hour it seems,
And every hour is but a part
Of all hopes and dreams.
Not wealth or fame however great
Can stretch or take away,
But quality of life is what
Makes it a sunshine day.
And quality is surely this;
The things we do and say
That spreads a ray of sunlight to
The folks along the way.
So surely, life is more than this,
And much more is in store;
The love we give will always live,
So life is more and more.
Gertrude B. McCain

TWELVE COMMANDMENTS FOR SENIORS:
#1 - Talk to yourself. There are times you need expert advice
#2 - “In Style” are the clothes that still fit.
#3 - You don't need anger management. You need people to stop pissing you off.
#4 - Your people skills are just fine. It's your tolerance for idiots that needs work.
#5 - The biggest lie you tell yourself is, “I don't need to write that down. I'll remember it.”
#6 - “On time” is when you get there.
#7 - Even duct tape can't fix stupid, but it sure does muffle the sound.
#8 - It would be wonderful if we could put ourselves in the dryer for ten minutes, then come out wrinkle-free and three sizes smaller.
#9 - Lately, you've noticed people your age are so much older than you.
#10 - Growing old should have taken longer.
#11 - Aging has slowed you down, but it hasn't shut you up.
#12 - You still haven't learned to act your age and hope you never will.
And one more: “One for the road” means peeing before you leave the house.

TAPT
Service Directory

Tulsa Area
Prime Timers
(TAPT)
www.tulsaareaprimetimers.com

Above is the QR code for Tulsa Area PrimeTimers

TAPT
Tulsa Aera Prime Timers
P.O. Forever Young
You can't go home again
Except on wings of the mind,
o reminisce of times we miss
And those we left behind.
We are but passing travelers
n the road of no return-journey of nostalgia
here specter lights still burn.
Time is a mystic door
And passion is the key
hat opens to the twilight zone
With scenes we long to see.
Visions of our loved ones,
hey live and always will,
Forever young in memory-In the past where time stands still
C. David Hay

Bygones
The years come and go,
And youth is left behind;
Our bodies have their bounds,
But endless is the mind.
We cross the barrier of time
To reminisce at will;
Nothing ever changes in
The place where time stands still.
But yesterday is dealt and played;
Good or bad, it was your hand.
The road we're forced to travel
Is not always what we planned.
So be grateful for today,
And pardon bygone debts;
Your memory will find peace
When you bury past regrets.
C. David Hay
